Tamiflu para el tratamiento de la gripe

Ataque el virus de la gripe en su origen con Tamiflu

Tamiflu es un medicamento con receta para la influenza que puede ayudar a detener su propagación en el cuerpo. Ha sido clínicamente probado en ayudar a mejorar a adultos y adolescentes (mayores de 13 años) hasta 30% más rápido (1.3 días) y a niños de entre 1 y 12 años un 26% más rápido (1.5 días) cuando se toma dentro de las 48 horas después que aparecen los primeros síntomas.1,2

Tamiflu es recetado para tratar a niños de 2 semanas de edad y mayores cuyos síntomas se hayan presentado en los últimos uno o dos días. Tamiflu además puede reducir la posibilidad de contraer la gripe en pacientes de 1 año y mayores.

Tamiflu ataca el virus de la influenza y ayuda a detener su propagación en el cuerpo. Tamiflu trata la gripe desde la raíz, atacando el virus que causa la enfermedad.

En un estudio clínico los pacientes de edad adulta y adolescentes mayores de 13 años que tomaron Tamiflu dentro de las primeras 48 horas de sufrir síntomas de gripe se recuperaron 30% más rápido (1.3 días) en comparación a pacientes que no tomaron Tamiflu.2

Tamiflu está disponible en cápsula y en jarabe para adultos o niños que tengan dificultad en tragar cápsulas.

Tamiflu does not prevent bacterial infections that may happen with the flu.

Tamiflu is not a substitute for an annual flu vaccination.

Do not take Tamiflu if you are allergic to oseltamivir phosphate or any of the ingredients in Tamiflu.

Important Safety Information

  • If you have an allergic reaction or a severe rash with Tamiflu, stop taking it, and contact your doctor right away. This may be very serious.
  • People with the flu, particularly children and adolescents, may be at an increased risk of seizure, confusion, or abnormal behavior early during their illness.
  • Let your doctor know if you are pregnant, nursing, have heart problems, breathing problems, a weakened immune system (immunocompromised), kidney problems or other medical conditions as Tamiflu may not be right for you.
  • Also tell your doctor about any medications you are taking or if you've received a nasal-spray flu vaccine in the past two weeks.
  • The most common side effects are mild to moderate nausea and vomiting, diarrhea and stomach pain.
